Mad Snake Level Guide

Every level introduces a new mechanic and ramps the speed. Master them in order - beat the campaign and you unlock Mad Mode.

Level 1 - Learn the Ropes

Level 1 is your training ground. The grid is clean and the pace is steady. Get comfortable with the controls - D-Pad or swipe-screen, your choice - and reversal protection, learn how the snake grows when you eat, and start building the muscle memory you'll rely on later.

  • Clean grid, no hazards
  • Standard apple growth
  • D-Pad and swipe-screen controls with reversal protection

Level 2 - Dodge the Obstacles

Level 2 introduces static obstacles placed across the board. The clean grid is gone. Plot longer paths, anticipate corners, and don't get boxed in.

  • Static obstacles scattered across the grid
  • Faster pace than Level 1
  • Tighter cornering required

Level 3 - Chase the Green Apples

Green apples appear for a limited time and disappear if you don't grab them. Each one is worth 3× points. Risk versus reward - chase them across hazards to climb the leaderboard.

  • Green apples worth 3× points
  • Limited-time spawn pattern
  • Risk/reward decision-making

Level 4 - The Enemy Snake

A second snake patrols the arena, hunting the same apples you are. Stay out of its path while you keep collecting. Every move counts.

  • AI-controlled enemy snake patrols the board
  • Compete for apples without colliding
  • Static obstacles still in play

Level 5 - All Hazards, Maximum Speed

The campaign's ultimate test. Maximum speed. All hazards from previous levels combined: static obstacles, the enemy snake, and the timed green apples. If you've trained hard, this is where you prove it.

  • Maximum speed
  • All previous hazards combined
  • Triple-point green-apple hunt

Level 6 - The Forest Arena

Level 6 changes the scenery. The Forest arena introduces a brand-new look and feel - different visuals, atmosphere, and challenge. Beat it to enter Mad Mode.

  • New Forest arena visuals
  • Distinct atmosphere
  • Final gateway to Mad Mode
